PolyFoam R-8

Castable rigid polyurethane foam demoldable in 10-15 minutes, this easy-to-use 1:1 mix rigid foam can be cast in closed molds packed to a density of 12 to 20 pounds per cubic foot to produce parts replicating wood, terra-cotta, stone or many other materials. It is usually cast in molds of PlatSil ® 73-45 with Barrier PF and Pol-Ease ® PF.

Polytek

PolyFoam R-8 is a 1:1 mix (by volume) polyurethane self-skinning rigid foam that has a free-rise density of 8 lb per cubic foot. PolyFoam rigid foams are excellent for casting functional as well as decorative objects that need to be lightweight and rigid. Also great for lightweight mold shells or mother molds. Generally PolyFoam products are poured into TinSil or PlatSil silicone molds or PolyCoated Poly 74 & 75 Series polyurethane rubber molds.
